“…They all condemned him as worthy of death. Then some began to spit at him; they blindfolded him, struck him with their fists, and said, “Prophesy!” And the guards took him and beat him.” - Mark 14:64, 65.

Jesus was mocked, and humiliated.  He was punched, beaten, flogged, and spit at.  He was innocent, yet falsely accused, and crucified.  I imagine Jesus was possibly mutilated beyond recognition.  The Son of God, chose to leave His throne because of His love for me - My Lord, My Master, My Friend…  I cry with tears, because Jesus did all this for me…  How can I complain?  How can I doubt?  How can I be unfaithful?  How can I stop fighting my former self-serving nature, and not exchange it for His glory?  I will never give up!  O may Christ be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death!  Lord, I offer up my life and say, “Jesus, this will be my body, broken for you.”
